Soulmate Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions to Soulmate Foundation may be tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Tax deductibility of donations, including cash, in-kind contributions, product donations, transportation services, advertising, and sponsorships, may vary based on individual circumstances and the nature of the contribution. Soulmate Foundation does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice.
Donors and partners are encouraged to consult with their tax advisor or legal professional to determine the deductibility and valuation of any contribution.
Goods, services, or other benefits received in exchange for a contribution may reduce the amount of the tax-deductible portion of that contribution in accordance with IRS regulations.
All donations and partnerships are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those governing alcoholic beverages.
Soulmate Foundation gratefully accepts in-kind donations, including but not limited to beer, seltzer, cider, transportation services, logistics support, advertising, media placements, event space, and professional services.
In accordance with IRS regulations, Soulmate Foundation does not assign or substantiate a dollar value for in-kind donations. The fair market value of any donated goods or services is determined solely by the donor.
Donors are responsible for maintaining appropriate records and documentation to support the valuation of their in-kind contribution for tax purposes. Soulmate Foundation recommends consulting a qualified tax advisor or legal professional to determine proper valuation and deductibility.
For qualifying in-kind donations, Soulmate Foundation will provide a written acknowledgment that includes:
· The name of the donor
· The date of the contribution
· A description (but not value) of the donated goods or services
· A statement indicating whether any goods or services were provided in return
No monetary value will be stated in the acknowledgment, in compliance with IRS guidelines.
Donated transportation, shipping space, and logistics services are considered in-kind contributions. Soulmate Foundation does not determine or verify the value of such services. Donors are solely responsible for establishing the fair market value and ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.
All in-kind donations involving alcoholic beverages are accepted and distributed in compliance with federal, state, and local alcohol regulations. Donors must ensure they are properly licensed and authorized to donate such products where required by law.
